I’m very surprised that there is no website and no stream, considering iHeart is named after their streaming app.
How does 103.7’s coverage compare to 102.3? Both stations will bump into Eugene signals, around the Wilsonville area.
Where is the website for the new 103.7?
The new 103.7 could bring Active Rock back to Portland, although there would be some overlap with Radio 102.3.
KRVM-FM uses an Omnia.
The harmonic which is now very strong over 105.1, is illegal interference caused by an issue with 102.3 and 103.7. The engineer needs to work on this!
Roseburg’s CHR “Jelli 101” will be moving from 101.1 to 100.9 this Sunday, December 1st, according the their Facebook page.
101.1 KXL will gain some bonus “DX” coverage around Douglas County, with “Jelli” no longer on the frequency.
“Jelli 101.1” KSKR-FM, Sutherlin/Roseburg has a CP for 100.9, while EMF has a CP which will move 92.9 KLMD, Talent/Medford to 101.1, giving K-Love a more powerful class A signal. This move will force “Kool 103” KLDZ’s Rogue River/Grants Pass translator off the 101.1 frequency.
Eugene’s KNRQ has tweaked it’s branding to “Alternative 103-7 KNRQ” while the format sounds much the same.
This past week, KTMT-FM slightly tweaked their on-air handle from “Now 93-7, All The Hits” to “93.7 Now, Today’s Hit Music.” In early September, PD/Morning Man; Gemineye moved back to his previous post at 107.5 Kiss FM. Mapleton’s syndicated JoJo Lopez is now hosting mornings on 93.7 Now, along with Mapleton CHR sisters in Spokane, Chico and Monterey.
Meanwhile, Grants Pass’ Hot AC; 98.3 KLDR has been updating their imaging to a more lively CHR sound.
With KNRQ’s move to 103.7, Cumulus now puts harmonic interference (a mix of 103.7 and 102.3) over 105.1 and 100.9 around Eugene. They need to work on fixing this issue, especially since EMF has a translator on 100.9.
“Star 102.3” now has the Adult CHR format they should have had 7 years ago. Thanks to the smart programming decisions over the past year, 102.3 finally has respectable ratings in Eugene.
According to the records, the KXPC calls have never been used anywhere else. Some stations choose to use the “-FM” suffix for reasons unknown.
Has “Magic 94.5” KLYK moved their Longview translator from 97.9 to 93.5 yet?
103.7 KNRQ isn’t mentioning Harrisburg in their Legal ID. Someone needs to fix this as soon as possible!
If KNRQ is about to move to 103.7, why haven’t they promoted the move yet?
“Power 94.3” KRKZ has brought CHR back to Astoria. The format was last heard in the market on 94.3 (then KADQ) over 10 years ago.
