I noticed that too. I think a clear channel (interference free) is what does the trickMay 29, 2017 at 12:30 am in reply to: LPFM Portland Metro Review: Licensed-CP's-Applications #29402
Does KIEV-LP 102.7 broadcast a loop of “You Fill Up My Senses (Annie’s Song)” during the overnight hours?
I don’t listen to them much, mostly never, but sometimes I tune in to see “what’s there” but I’ve never heard a loop of anything, even at late hours. HOWEVER, a couple times I’ve heard some pretty funny stuff. One Saturday morning at around 9:15 am I tuned in and I heard a guy play piano in the background and a bunch of girls talking. Some time later I figured that it was a live broadcast from a rehearsal and they had NO IDEA that they were on the air! I bet they intended to program the software to “take input” at a specific time (to broadcast the service) but messed something up. I’ve listened to that for at least for 30 minutes until it got kind of awkward and I had to make a call. So in response to your question Alfredo, yes, everything is possible, I would not be surprised!May 17, 2017 at 6:15 pm in reply to: LPFM Portland Metro Review: Licensed-CP's-Applications #29052
KYTE usually dominates 102.7 here
Do you think what you hear is KYTE from their new location?

This is just way too funny. One week on a continous loop. I wonder what will FCC’s actions be next against the station named above.
As I write this, K288FT (105.5 MHz) is still off the air. Does anybody know what happened?
Whatever the reason is – we don’t complain! Hopefully they go off completely 🙂
