Does anybody remember clear 102.3? I think they were AAA before they flip to classic hits 102.3 the hawk.
How about moving to Healy heights?
I heard radio dork is smoking too many weed. He knows $h!t when it comes to radio industry.
Can you recieve kbtc/kcka TV in Astoria?
Radiodork is arrogant and ignorant when it’s comes to $$$ and demographics. Lots of millenials don’t listen to active rock. Most of them listen to EDM, hip-hop, or Indy music. Plus, records labels haven’t release lots of Rock music lately. Most of the active rock stations have to rely on recurrent hits of the past decade.
Radiodork come to San Francisco Bay Area and let me know what do you think about the radio dial. It’s too…..(fill in the blank).
Rock station doesn’t work here in San Francisco because of the demographics and lifestyle. Hey, we don’t have a single country radio station in the Bay Area. San Jose got 2, SF got 0. Most of the music station in San Francisco are rhythmic, urban, and pop. Alternative, AAA, and classic Rock are struggling in the ratings. Just look at the numbers for KITS, KFOG, and KSAN.
Any new information about their construction permit? Since their CP expires on August 31st, 2015.
Can you pick up Seattle TV stations in AStoria? I know Seattle radio station is catchable up there.
Is kwao 88.1fm runs air-1 or klove? Also same question for 104.5 in Seattle, are they running k-love or air-1 feed?
Norway doesn’t have lots of radio stations compare to Southern Europe, or the United States. The government run radio stations are operated by NRK, no relations to KNRK here’s the list of radio stations in Oslo
KOIN 6 in the morning has played musical chairs since the days of Eric Schmidt, Marsha Coffey, and Hiedi Somners back in the early 80s. Kgw and kptv have the least musical chairs for their morning news. I think Brenda Braxton been in the am news business since 1988?
Again, US and Canada has a agreement to be short space between channels. Look at KISM 92.9 and CKYE 93.1, KWPZ 106.5 and CKAV-FM2, KZOK 102.5 and CKPK 102.7, KHTP 103.7 and CHQM 103.5. They are all short spaced.
I’m not sure if the reason why KMCQ can’t become Class C1 is it because of KDUX 104.7 in Aberdeen, WA and KKRV 104.7 Chashmere/Wenachee(sp) WA? I’m not sure about KMNT 104.3 (Class C3) in Chehalis WA effect the class upgrade for KMCQ?
Also, I don’t think it’s CHHR, because they already short spaced with KAFE 104.1, and the minimum separation between US and Canada stations are different.
Speaking of KMCQ would it be possible to raise from Class C2 to Class C1, I know KMNT 104.3 wouldn’t be an issue since there far enough to upgrade to C1.
