IF I interpret the Gallup Poll correctly, independents are becoming Repubs:
    https://news.gallup.com/poll/242906/republican-party-favorability-highest-seven-years.aspx
Returning to the topic, Repubs have doubled support among the various Negro communities. Something about leaving the plantation:
    https://thehill.com/opinion/civil-rights/406730-the-black-communitys-9-11-and-pearl-harbor
Demo increasing dependence on Latino and Hispanic communities makes sense. There are more browns than blacks.

New FCC Class 4 designation in the Inquiry stage. Understand the reasons. Class A FM stations are becoming non-local (satellite programming usually religious) or are, like AM, signing off.
NAB identifies “short – spacing” waiver issues and adjacent channel interference. Anyone with a radio in NYC, LA and NO will hear adjacent stations in large blocks on the broadcast FM spectrum. This point is moot. NYC and LA are not in Zone II.
    Don’t know what RAB thinks.

Now, that is a brief! Worth the read (twice).
However, there are three voices (Todd should just stop being a legal beagle) and the Review Response fails to restate in new language positions presented in the original Petition Reply. Replies and Responses are different animals.
    Petitioners make good points;
The lack of retrospective intervention in Auctions No. 99 and 100 compared to said intervention in Auction No. 83; and the presence of population-density considerations in Auction No. 83 but not 99 or 100 is disparate treatment vis Melody Music, Inc., Appellant, v. Federal Communications Commission, Appellee, 345 F.2d 730 (D.C. Cir. 1965).
    and bad:
Victoria bemoans the existence of the “parties aggrieved” standing option, inferring that Petitioners should embrace the more common means of standing better covered in case history under Section 1.106(b). Victoria delving into Section 1.106(b) standing qualification is thus superfluous.

Don’t know why the Rototiller and Penetrator are in discussion. They are circular.
    A cloud of dust and a Hi-Yo-Silver?
“…and asked them if they can build a circular polarized version with one element due to limited tower space?
    I have.”

Can be done. Anybody can build one in the garage. Although a circular Yagi-Uda would be a waste of aluminum.

Seven FM. 12 AM. Dozens cellular.

A [single] Shively 6800 Series antenna is not directional, is H/V and not “circular”. Takes two or more for directional radiation patterns when elements are spaced or “offset” (let’s say) 1/2 lambda on the vertical and horizontal planes for horizontal ‘figure eight’ 90 /270 degree patterns. Or, ‘back to back’ 1/2 lambda spacing on the horizontal plane for 0 / 180 degree patterns. For 106.3 mHz, 1.38 – 1.41 meter spacing between elements. Please remember the center ‘stub’ is adjustable for VWSR which also affects radiation power and pattern.
    Physics. It’s a bitch.

    A. Let’s keep the name shame game on the Politics board where it belongs.
    2. I can make two coat hangers into directional antennae with “offset mounts” but no one does except for your cited exception.
    III. White/Blue pair to pins 5 and 4, …

“The antenna pattern plot for K292HH shows an incredible null in the direction of KLOO. … How would such a null be achieved?”
Shively 6800 Series is not directional. Log period and Yagi-Uda are. I answer jr tech’s question more clearly with facts. Try it sometime.

Whatever. Guess we can ignore the ACTUAL FCC GRANTED MODIFICATION APPLICATION. https://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/pubacc/prod/eng_fm.pl?Application_id=1785791
You are right about one thing. Posted photo is the 6800 Series and not as I mid-identified as the 6100. My bad memory. But I query; why would Salem pay $25,000 for two 250 lbs 6810 medium to high power behemoths for 99 Watts ERP?
I’ll be driving on Cornell Road from downtown to Hillsboro tomorrow and will be shaking my head. Meanwhile, you grab good field glasses and take a look.

    Correct manufacturer, Andy. Incorrect antenna.
Posted photo is Shively 6100 Series. Perhaps the best FM antenna on the market a broadcaster can buy and priced accordingly.
Actual antennae are Shively 6025 Series. Log – periodics. Anybody can make one in a garage.
Moot now as FCC grants Salem Modification and License to Cover.

KWSO-FM, a true gem for Oregon radio broadcasting, doesn’t rely on “pledge weeks”. Majority funding comes from Fedzilla and Salem. Your tax dollars at work.

    Speaking of Burt O’Kavanaugh:
President has asked the DOJ and NOI to release unredacted FISA Applications and 100 pages of ‘field notes’.
“In addition, President Donald J. Trump has directed the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to publicly release all text messages relating to the Russia investigation, without redaction, of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr,” the announcement read.”
