The man is mentally ill. I mean, seriously, listen to this guy:

What the actual fuck was that?!

Getting along with Russia and jointly knocking out ISIS is a bad thing?

I’ve seen Trump make a chringeworthy comment or two, but not in that clip.

He’s not an “idiot” or “mentally ill,” btw. He’s run rings around politicians on the left and right. That is no accident.

I wondered what he would do to detract from the Democratic Convention and put the focus on himself. Now we know. We should expect more tomorrow.

Big difference between “cooperating with Russia to defeat ISIS” and being Putin’s lapdog.

    1. All the other discussions of Trump’s finances aside, his debt load has grown dramatically over the last year, from $350 million to $630 million. This is in just one year while his liquid assets have also decreased. Trump has been blackballed by all major US banks.

    2. Post-bankruptcy Trump has been highly reliant on money from Russia, most of which has over the years become increasingly concentrated among oligarchs and sub-garchs close to Vladimir Putin. Here’s a good overview from The Washington Post, with one morsel for illustration …
Since the 1980s, Trump and his family members have made numerous trips to Moscow in search of business opportunities, and they have relied on Russian investors to buy their properties around the world.

“Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets,” Trump’s son, Donald Jr., told a real estate conference in 2008, according to an account posted on the website of eTurboNews, a trade publication. “We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”

    3. One example of this is the Trump Soho development in Manhattan, one of Trump’s largest recent endeavors. The project was the hit with a series of lawsuits in response to some typically Trumpian efforts to defraud investors by making fraudulent claims about the financial health of the project. Emerging out of that litigation however was news about secret financing for the project from Russia and Kazakhstan. Most attention about the project has focused on the presence of a twice imprisoned Russian immigrant with extensive ties to the Russian criminal underworld. But that’s not the most salient part of the story. As the Times put it,”Mr. Lauria brokered a $50 million investment in Trump SoHo and three other Bayrock projects by an Icelandic firm preferred by wealthy Russians “in favor with” President Vladimir V. Putin, according to a lawsuit against Bayrock by one of its former executives. The Icelandic company, FL Group, was identified in a Bayrock investor presentation as a “strategic partner,” along with Alexander Mashkevich, a billionaire once charged in a corruption case involving fees paid by a Belgian company seeking business in Kazakhstan; that case was settled with no admission of guilt.”

Another suit alleged the project “occasionally received unexplained infusions of cash from accounts in Kazakhstan and Russia.

Trump is out there giving press conferences. Why isn’t Hillary Clinton? It’s been almost eight months since her last press conference!

    What is she afraid of?

Trump just asked a foreign power to attack the server of a political opponent.

The fact you, or anyone, would defend or justify or rationalize that as anything other than insane/completely beyond the pale, just illustrates the fact you’re a lying and hypocritical hack of the first order.

It’s, be definition, both reckless and lunatic.

That was not on that clip, but I did find out about it later and heard his comments in context and I thought it was hilarious.

Obviously, those emails are no longer “hackable.” Given that Hillary was extremely careless in protecting US secrets for the sake of protecting her own, her jury-rigged basement servers were already likely to have been hacked.

The obvious real issue is why are there 30,000 “private” emails that were erased. There are many who do not buy that they were just about her yoga pants and sweet notes to her husband who doesn’t use email.

So he never “invited” a foreign power to do anything, and no foreign power would wait for his or anyone else’s permission. They went ahead with that a long time ago, and it’s hard to believe that allegedly smart people cannot grasp sarcastic humor.

Trump Derangement Syndrome: It’s fun to watch.

    You’re a pig.

As a candidate Trump should not receive security briefings. Give them to Pence but not to the wild man.

I can’t wait to see what is on these e mails. The Corruption of Hillary Clinton will finally be exposed!

I need to grab my popcorn – this shit storm on the Democratic side is beyond entertaining.

Charles Krauthammer: Trump Laid a Clever Trap

He notes (as I did in the other thread) that there is no “security issue” if this is just about private emails, but they are howling that it is. So…why would that be? Are they admitting there is more there than what’s private?

    Andy Brown

In krautboy’s and your wet dream.

The Dems totally fell into Trumps Trap, I lOVE IT! The dems have now basically admitted that there is incriminating information in those e mails. BUT, that shouldn’t be surprising. I have 3 words- RELEASE THOSE E MAILS!!!!!!

Watching Donald Trump destroy and expose the corrupt Clinton machine is so entertaining, almost as good as the new Hillary Clinton movie called “Hillary’s America.”
