Two Google employees have been fired over comments that they made on internal company discussion forums, and both are suing their former employer.
James Damore was fired for writing a criticism of the company’s mentoring and diversity programs. He claims that the loss of his job was due to a company culture that discriminates against White men and conservatives.
Tim Chevalier, a transgender software developer, was subsequently fired for speaking up about bullying that he encountered on the same message boards, as well as filing complaints about board content that he believed promoted harassment and White supremacy.
Thanks, Alfredo T. Information is all there.
From James Diamore treatise: “differences in distribution of traits between men and women may in part explain why we don’t have 50% representation in tech and leadership.
Discrimination to reach equal representation is unfair, divisive and bad for business'”
This is old news not well covered. As I expressed in a tech forum, Ooogle should nave terminated Diamore but not for the reasons stated in his termination notice and is contrary to Ooogle (and Alphabet) Corporate policy statements.
