The orange hemorrhoid is so insecure, he doesn’t even have faith in his hold over the mindless right wing bible thumping crowd and is funneling more lies about how he would flex his muscle in a second term to them.
Remember, this is a large segment of his base and the appointment of whacko conservative judges into the judicial system is being faithfully carried out by Moscow Turtle Mitch even in the midst of the impeachment turmoil. This has endeared the mindless voters of faith. The hypocrisy here is unparalleled. drumpf is a faithless souless pig whose mental condition makes him think that he can continue to spew lies and be left largely unchallenged at these venues, but the contradiction between the flock and the shepherd has never been so conflagrant. This further denigrates all people who support this schmuck.
For those that need a primer on school prayer, in the United States if organized by the school it is largely banned from public elementary, middle and high schools by a series of Supreme Court decisions since 1962. Students may pray privately, and join religious clubs in after-school hours. Public schools are those operated by government agencies, such as local school districts. They are banned from conducting religious observances such as prayer. Private and parochial schools are not covered by these rulings, nor are colleges and universities. Elementary and secondary schools are covered because students are required to attend, and are considered more at risk from official pressure than are older students and adults. The Constitutional basis for this prohibition is the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, which requires that
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…
So drumpf is claiming he will tear down the First Amendment in as many words by telling the sheep that their first amendment right to pray is the greater right, an argument that has lost in the SCOTUS many times.
