    SEPTEMBER 30TH. TODAY IN PORTLAND RADIO HISTORY

    1940 KEX & KGW “The Oregonian” stations both extended sign on’s one half hour earlier beginning 6:00 A.M.

    1966 KISN filed a suit against Paul Oscar Anderson for “Breach of Contract” by going on the air at KGAR.

    2011 Adelante Media of Oregon License, LLC sold KGDD, KOOR, KRYN, KXET back to Bustos Media, LLC.

    2013 Cumulus Licensing, LLC sold KXPC to Educational Media Foundation (EMF Broadcasting) for $6.8 Million.

    2013 KXPC 97.9 MHz., Aloha, signed on the air with the “K-Love” Contemporary Christian music format.
