A group picture of interns for Democrats in Congress taken Tuesday paints a completely different picture of the makeup of the country than the snap taken recently by Paul Ryan with mostly white Republican interns.

“Today interns from Democratic Congressional offices wanted to show America how diverse the future of our party is,” Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson of Texas posted on Facebook, along with the photo.

The group picture was widely praised on social media, which could not be said about the Ryan photo.

“Paul Ryan’s photograph was actually taken at an event for the 2016 Congressional Summer Intern Lecture Series, which is open to interns from both parties. While Ryan likely drew a large Republican crowd, it’s not accurate to classify this photograph as an image specifically showing only Republican interns.

We can do and say things that tend to heal racial divisions, or we can drive a divisive wedge for political gain, or for some kind of sick sport, as the OP seems fond of doing.

Obviously the Democrats were giving away free stuff.

You know us D’s. We hate white people and America.

And you could never induce the support of minorities unless you give away free stuff.

That’s all they really care about, you know.

    But of course.

I’d continue this discourse but I’m off to my secret Muslim meeting. Exciting stuff this week, both Barak and Hill are speaking!

    More rubbish from F&Bacon.

Open your eyes, Vern. The Christian right, the GOP, the conservatives . . . called out as the racist, sexist homophobes that they are is not something you should even attempt to defend. There are plenty of other sources of text and pictures that prove that premise and every time you try and defend it you look like a fool and an idiot.

The conservative element in this country have turned into a bunch of bastards. Their agenda of removing rights from blacks, women, LGBT’s and other minorities stinks of self importance and a holier than thou attitude which you yourself have displayed frequently on this board under all your pseudonyms. Your blatant attempt to discredit the OP with a snopes reveal that in itself is basically inconclusive and points out a technicality is lackluster.

If the racist homophobic sexist shoe fits, wear it. Stop trying to change what is already a fact in evidence, the Republican Party is the party of a shrinking white minority that dislikes Blacks, women, gays, Jews and Asians.

“You are (provably) a lying, hypocritical, mendacious, bigot. Relentlessly unpleasant, comically obstinate, deliberately offensive, as welcome as genital warts”.
