    You guys had me going. I was seriously pondering how British songwriters in the early 1960s might have come into contact with bits of American pop culture such as advertising slogans. On second thought, deliberately using a piece of an advertising slogan would have been foolish because of potential copyright issues and because Americans would have picked up on this as a desperate effort by foreigners to sound “American” (I am a bit surprised that The Rolling Stones did not receive the same kind of flack over “Satisfaction).
