I recently heard on KOMO that the Satanic Temple of Seattle has issued a press release stating that it offer invocations for any Bremerton high school football player who requests one.

The “catch” is that the Satanic Temple of Seattle are not true Satanists; instead, they are a protest organization whose goal is to make a point about church-state separation.
So do the players burn their helmets after a score? Do they light the football on fire after scoring a TD? Do they all set fire to the campus after a win?
THIS HAS BECOME TOTALLY RIDICULOUS! Really. Calmer heads need to prevail here. Somebody needs to step up. Kitsap Co. is better than this.
Sorry Coach Joe, but kneeling and praying with half the team at a school function is a no-no. It’s divisive and should be considered school sactioned prayer.
>>should be considered school sactioned prayer
Under SCOTUS law it has to be student led…let the players do the kneeling/praying after the game and the coaches/families watch/pray close by…good compromise…
Pray at home or at church. Religion should stay out of sports, especially at a public high school.
