    The torture debate proves it.

They support small time crap like Benghazi yet ignore the elephant in the room.

More proof that Bush, Cheney, and some others should be in jail.

Why don’t you ask the families that lost love ones on 9-11 that torture would be any good.

Ask Bush and Cheney that question. They were in charge when we were attacked.

So not only were they asleep at the wheel when Bin Laden attacked, they overreacted with illegal torture policies.

And, to torture doesn’t work even though evangelicals believe it does and that God approves.

    Rectal hydration.

Does God approve? (I’m sure the Pope is okay though.)

Better yet, who would approve of rectal hydration?

Not only is it torture, it’s gay.

“Why don’t you ask the families that lost love ones on 9-11 that torture would be any good.”

Let’s ask the families that lost children off the Vista bridge because of the Broadways of the world.

Torturing a terrorist to prevent more terrorist victims…that’s bad?!

You are assuming they are “terrorists”.

The report indicated torture didn’t do any good.

To advocate for the unborn and yet in the same breath advocate for torture is troublesome to me.

Hey, Jer…Perhaps you can point me to the places in the Bible where Jesus said to “Torture your enemies.”

here is that eye for an eye bit again…

The end game is everybody goes blind.

We are better than them. Due process is who we are, not starting wars of choice and lies is who we are. Working with our friends and allies to marginalize the impact of terror is who we are.

If we respond by becoming them, they win, and the world is less for it.

The effective and potent answers to torture do not fit on bumper stickers.

    We are better than them.

Sadly Bush, Cheney et al. did much to diminish that notion.

There is an interesting discussion among Christians about this in the Blog from 6 years ago.

You’ll have to get past the CSS errors at the top of the page first though. Looks like it’s having trouble with it’s banner.
