A popular porn site is blocking some North Carolinians’ access to its material due to the state’s law preventing cities from banning discrimination against the LGBT community.

The porn site, xHamster, tweeted on Monday that it was “blacking out access for North Carolina” because of newly passed House Bill 2, which also dictates which public restrooms transgender men and women can use.

When users with a North Carolina IP address visit the website they will be asked if they support the anti-LGBT law, xHamster Chief Marketing Officer, Alexander D. Hawkins, said in an email. If they choose in the affirmative they will be blocked from the site, he said.

Hawkins said the company plans to stand their ground in the “fight for equality.”

“All the fuss about moral values being destroyed by porn is ridiculous when checking the statistics on the porn consumption state-on-state, including North Carolina,” Hawkins said.

So if the lack of new jobs and big events is not enough, then what is left? The lack of North Carolina males to take things into their own hands? I guess so. Something tells me this one will actually work.

The pathetic governor of NC is already trying to save face. I’m super glad of the stand companies and other states have taken to cause economic stress due to the current law. I predict stuff will change. Question is, will it be enough and will it matter? The damage has already been done.

I love every part of that story.

Now all of the good “Christian” folk in North Carolina will have to seek out their hot girl on girl action from another porn provider. And all of the most vocal opponents of gay marriage and equal rights and protections for LGBT persons in North Carolina will have to seek out their hot guy on guy action from another porn provider.

The momentary inconvenience of having to Google up another free porn site aside, the economic toll of bigotry is beginning to mount in NC.

Conventions are cancelling. Business are moving, considering moving, or encouraging boycotts. Events are cancelling (like the Bruce concert), other events are considering cancelling or moving (like NCAA sporting events, etc.) and I’m sure more will follow. It’s already projecting a hundreds of millions of dollars right out the window.

Enjoy, North Carolina. If not for Mississippi you’d be the laughingstock of the country right now.

(And Tumblr. But I didn’t tell you that.)

    Oh, by the way:

“Researcher Conrad Longmore claims that advertisements displayed by the sites were found to contain malware programs, which install harmful files on users’ machines without their permission. Mr Longmore told the BBC that two popular sites – XHamster and Pornhub – pose the greatest threat.”

Wow talk about déjà vu. I just finished pleasuring myself while watching videos on Porn hub. It’s by far the best site to satisfy my porn needs. I’ll be honest, I’ve never been on Xhamster. Is it any good Lurking?

Irrelevant, Dork. According to the story that Vit cited, Xhamster will block you.

If you are really looking for something new to pleasure yourself to, try the Ollie North testimony at the Iran-Contra hearings. Or maybe Cheney claiming we’ll be greeted by Iraq “as liberators”. You’re into that kind of kinky shit, right?

This is just lots of talk about nothing. Ever heard of these things called “proxy servers” or “IP spoofing”? Pretty basic stuff. There are ways around these things if you need your fix badly enough.

“I always enjoy a good Wikipedia citation.”

    Shove it your ass, dickweed.

One thing many do not know that the “Bathroom Bill” is not only that. The law also cuts back on Medicaid, and other things not reported in the news. It affects several items for the poor. The LBGT part got the news. But these Southern states really do little for minorities as well as the poor. I am glad I live in the NW.
