Yes, my choice of words was very deliberate. 🙂

My choice of words, as the 2nd poster on this thread, were deliberate as well. I stated and agree that he has virtually zero chance of winning the GOP nomination. My somewhat weak joke was only put out due to the title of the thread, but was wrong.

I, too struggled with my weight in my early to mid-40’s. I have always been very fit, and I am now, but I did have 4-5 years where I was 40-50 pounds overweight. I should know better, because at the time it was really difficult. However, I did overcome it and most can as well. I understand some can’t and that is OK.

Amus brings up some good food for thought. It’s pretty heavy advice and should be roundly considered.

Seriously though, Christie is not fat, he’s obese. And it’s mostly a choice based on diet and (lack of) excercise.

Besides, what good is a joke if it doesn’t sting a little bit?

Vit, I really didn’t know you could be that funny.

“food for thought”, “heavy advice”, “roundly considered”.

Sorry, but your post IS funny, whether it is politically correct or not!

I think we could all lighten up about this.
