I noticed that KPAM is listed in the latest ratings at stationratings.com.November 2, 2018 at 4:38 pm #40056bossjockParticipant
KPAM is showing now because Salem subscribes, and Pamplin did not.November 2, 2018 at 9:52 pm #40057nosignalallnoiseParticipant
Oh come on, there’s no way KKCW could have an 8.8 share. WTF? That piece of shit that sounds like it’s been through eight thousand budget cuts?
Are there *really* that many people who like never-ending commercials with the occasional crappy 2000’s bubblegum teen-pop cut?
20 years ago I’d have believed it, but…November 3, 2018 at 12:41 am #40061
Let me guess: You aren’t a 35-54 year-old woman. I’m sorry. I didn’t intend for that to sound flippant.August 7, 2020 at 12:00 pm #47368
I didn’t want to start a new topic, so I dredged up this thread. KXJM just posted a 5.0 share! Now, I know that the rating is still lower than the share would indicate, due to the virus but it’s Classic Hip-hop, not Rhythmic CHR, as in the past and as such, I think that’s an amazing number!August 7, 2020 at 12:32 pm #47369Alfredo_TParticipant
I would not have guessed that KEX beats the country stations, KNRK, KRSK, and KINK. At first, I was surprised that all of the sports stations are doing so poorly, but then I noticed that all of these numbers are post-COVID.August 7, 2020 at 10:37 pm #47370
We’ve been in this loop since April. Total listening is way down, so the shares are higher than normal, in some cases but time is bought by rating, not share. In addition, some formats are more affected than others, if they normally have strong in office or in car listening. Also, some stations look better because their rating has fallen less, like Classical. The last I heard, any ad sales were pretty much ignoring these figures.May 21, 2021 at 1:22 am #50639
After a long string of low two shares, I see that The Buzz has posted a 3.6! I realize that it could just be a fluke but wonder if there could be something else going on, like a new morning show, for instance.November 17, 2021 at 12:23 pm #52017
I’m a little late on this but The Eagle has risen to the top of the 6+ October ratings. I don’t recall this happening before. While this sounds like good news, it could be a warning that the audience is getting too old! They seem to be significantly behind the curve in adding 90s titles, just a few Aerosmith songs and that’s about it and even that is fairly recent! I expect the remaining 60s and early 70s tunes to disappear sooner rather than later.November 17, 2021 at 6:31 pm #52018paulwalkerParticipant

Ok thanks. What stands out to me is upper demo stations are doing well. I think this is now a real trend as radio continues to lose younger demos.November 17, 2021 at 7:38 pm #52022lastdayParticipant
KMHD also appears in the Eugene ratings. How is that possible?November 18, 2021 at 10:08 pm #52026Randy_in_EugeneParticipant
28.4 on their TVs, and hit the SAP. Hard to believe it’s a measurable audience though. KLCC at one time was a Jazz format and had a decent following.
