Yesterday, a man opened fire at a showing of the film Trainwreck, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Two moviegoers died. The man then shot himself when police had reached the theater:

The man’s motives have not been determined, but his past behavior suggests mental illness. There is no indication that he was Muslim.
