    Keith made dreams come true for future broadcasters. What a wonderful legacy to leave.

    KOOL (AM/FM) Billboard Magazine, Dec 8, 1962: “Keith Allen has been signed as an early-morning deejay at KOOL, Phoenix.”

    KOLO (AM) Reno. Mid-day air personality 10am to 2pm, by Dec 1963. Also KOLO Program Director & Music Director. Dec 20, 1964 Nevada State Journal ad: “Noon to 6 p.m. first with Keith Allen on K O L O.”

    Very sad news. Here is a 1974 Oregon Journal newspaper article on KPCC with quotes from Keith.


    Meant Keith in late 1979 (Had a girlfriend that was part of his student class on Radio & TV at PCC)..He really ran a great program for many, many years. You think of all the broadcasters – radio – TV that got into the business because of his encouragement and training it has to be in the 1000’s of the years.
