A Queens man was arrested on weapons and drug charges after a bystander overheard him talking on the phone about killing police officers, the NYPD says.
“New York City stands with our police officers in this time of tragedy, as we do every day, and our city will not be intimidated by those spouting hateful, violent messages,” he said in a statement.

It appears it was the weapons and drugs they got him on, not the speech. Of course, shooting his mouth off about killing cops got him noticed.
However, free speech in this country is slowly becoming a thing of the past.

Don’t the cops report to the mayor?
If this was a GOP mayor with bleeding heart cops protesting, they’d be fired.
Frankly, NYPD needs to look in the mirror. They are not serving the public as they should.
