Thanks for spilling the beans, now those science project diehards are going to attempt to turn the buzzzzz box back on. good riddance to it
Lol, I believe its absence is only temporary.
The buzzzzz is back baby! KRVM-AM HD is up again today.
Wasn’t that an Elton John song? 🙂
Many top40’s never mentioned the title of that top40 hit by Elton. In fact, I know of atleast two cases where there was a memo to not mention the title.
Seattle’s KING Music Radio 11 ‘did’ back then; I have an aircheck to prove it…
Here is a brief sample of KRVM (AM) HD, recorded just a few minutes ago. Why they turned the “HD” back on is beyond me. http://www.divshare.com/download/24301113-15c
Wideband analog isn’t much better but at least the hiss is cleaner.

KZEL is “dead air” this evening. Also no HD, analog only.
EDIT: Actually all Cumulus FM Eugene is dead air… KDUK AM is ok.
KDUK-AM? There hasn’t been a KDUK on AM in years. KDUK(FM) is owned by Bi-Coastal.
At the moment KNRQ has audio but KZEL and KUJZ are still broadcasting silence.
Gahhhh. For some reason I get KUGN and KDUK mixed up. Probably senility and the fact I never listen to them. Anyway KEHK is back too. No KZEL or KUJZ yet. Tom Woods and/or Mark Raney are probably pulling their hair out.
103.7 is off to…change is coming…
If KNRQ is about to move to 103.7, why haven’t they promoted the move yet?
Please see my recent remarks in “Towers & Such”.
