I saw radio online posted Portland and Eugene ratings today. (Okay, one demo). Is that public info that can be posted? Or, does Radio Online have a license or some kind of agreement?

It is generally okay to post “rankings,” as in who is #1, or #3, etc, but rating numbers are copyrighted, and only certain news websites or publications can post them.

Total audience shares are probably in the clear. I’ve never heard of any issue with them. I think you could claim “fair use”. I usually see rankings for demographic breakdowns or day parts.

We couldn’t copy/past them here, though … right?

I’m not going to commit to anything but I don’t see why not, as long as you don’t post anything beyond total audience share. People do it all the time. I never do that anyway. I put up a link.
