2nd station to play Christmas music is WAY FM 104.5.
Nothings changed. AM side. 1450 is all Xmas 1550 does 4 or 5 Xmas songs an hour No Fish yet, Or 97.1, Or 106.7.
Only full time are: FM_K103. AM_1450. AM 1550 does 4 an hour. The Way FM 104.5 does Xmas about half of the time. KISN 95.1 now does 2 an hour. At least, today they did. CharlieFM 97.1 is getting in on it too. Varies though. 1 an hour. Maybe 2 an hour. Depends with them, I suppose. The automation, you see!
AM 1550 is all Christmas now.
The Fish appears to have switched but it’s so late, I have a feeling that only their regular listeners will be aware of it.
KZZD 1390 is playing a Christmas song every now and then.
Hey, Alfredo, What is KBZY 1490 playing? Any Xmas tunes?
I just heard a reggae version of “Joy to the World” on 89.9 HD-4. Ouch!
Ouch! Reggae version? Almost sounds funny. Not! Glad you are back!
1450 kbps Christmas… er, holiday greeting card on the air now!
Looks like 98.7, 99.5, 101.1, and 101.9 are getting in on it!
Here in Newberg, the Eugene FM stations come in quite well, so I occasionally tune in to them. I was STUNNED today to hear KODZ (Kool 99.1) STILL playing continuous Christmas music! On New Year’s Eve! I don’t just mean generic winter songs. I mean songs that talk about Santa, etc….
I wonder what kind of reaction they are getting from listeners about that?
I assume they will stop the Christmas music at midnight tonight….???
I suppose if a station can play Xmas music too early it can also play it too late.
Must be believers in the “12 Days of Christmas…”
When it comes to taking the Christmas lights down, I’m drifting in that direction…Used to take ’em down New Year’s Day, but not this year… The aftermath is too dark!
Happy New Year from Arizona!
Hey, Mark. Won’t take nothing down til at least the 4th!
