ParticipantBend is market #205 and I don’t see any other possibilities unless it’s WAY below #201! There don’t appear to be any Class A Commercial stations in Bend and anything very far outside, wouldn’t come in so I’m at a loss. South-Central sounds like Klamath Falls but there’s that #201+ number getting in the way again.

ParticipantNo Class A’s in the Klamath Falls market….maybe Medford?

ParticipantDoug McIntyre’s “Red Eye Radio” program now heard in Bend on NewsTalk 1110am KBND, 1am to 5am, following George Noorey.
In Portland it’s on “Freedom 970.”

ParticipantIt looks like I skipped over Medford at #209. There’s a Class A in Rogue River on 94.7 but it’s more of a Grants Pass station. That must be it but it isn’t 6KW. Still, that seems to be all we have to go on.

ParticipantCould be KRAT (97.7 FM, “97.7 The Rat”) in Altamont, Oregon (Klamath Falls area). It’s been silent for a while and is up for sale. At least that’s what I was told last week while in town.

ParticipantI know the market size is listed wrong, but it’s not the first time we’ve seen that done in any ratings service.
November 11, 2010 at 8:25 pm #1062semoochie
ParticipantThere’s no longer any sign of Altamont in the FCC database. I think it’s past the time it can be sold as a silent station.
