This podcast is pretty great: http://boingboing.net/2015/04/29/how-to-change-a-persons-min.html

I’m a regular listener, but this episode gets into more productive advocacy techniques. Well worth a listen, maybe discussion after you guys have tuned in.

The Podcast is: “You are not so smart”.

    Right?
That’s what I found at the link.

    Yep. That’s the one.

Then, in the second half, you’ll meet a man in Los Angeles who conducted 12,000 conversations in a quest to perfect the most powerful version of contact possible. According to the scientists who’ve studied his methods, he may have finally advanced the contact hypothesis – because the evidence suggests that in one, 22-minute chat, Dave Fleischer can change people’s minds on issues they’ve felt strongly about for decades, and change them forever.

I’m going to listen again on my drive right now. Got interrupted a coupla times. Normally, I don’t care and move on, but this one was compelling. Thought I would share.
