Re: Eugene Radio Happenings

101.5 KFLY and 104.7 KDUK have been off the air since 4:30 in the afternoon. It’s nice being able to listen to 104.3 KKMX and 105.1 KRSK in Eugene, without KDUK’s nasty splatter.

Since June 8th, 2001, 104.7 KDUK’s transmitter has been putting out RF spurs on 104.4 and 105.0 MHz, which severely messes up reception of 105.1 KRSK (on the more wide FM tuners) in Albany, Corvallis, Eugene, etc.

101.5 KFLY’s transmitter has never put out any RF spurs, and I sure wish the engineers would fix KDUK’s transmitter.
