Has to be Jacob and Abe on KBPS. They actually give the current time and temperature, too. Reminds me of my college days in radio. Great mix of music. They actually sound like they are having fun on the radio..."THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO BE"

Holy crap I'm absolutely speechless! Its definitely all about what radio was meant to be live, local, and audience interactive! I am most grateful to be back on AM 1450 KBPS doing Summer Sound again even if it's only for the summer! Thank you so much for listening!

Its great to hear such positive responses to KBPS and the Summer Sound programming. I was fortunate to be able to bring back a few recent KBPS grads to fill out the Summer Sound ranks this year. Jacob and Abe do a great job...so do the rest of the crew: Jon-Eric Smith, Zack Keirsey, and Brian Halvorson. And yes, we are indeed in glorious AM stereo! (none of his HD nonsense!) The great sound of the station can be credited to our terrific engineer Mike Johnson who has us dialed into perfection!
You know I really enjoy listening to all three shows through out my day,but I have to say that I really enjoy what the morning crew is doing with their show as well as the 11-2 show. I think doing funny news stories brings a little humor to my stressed out day. I also would have to say that Zack and Brian's bit about Christopher Walken looking for work is pretty hilarious as well. It's great to hear them having so much fun on air :)Thanks guys!
You know Pennylane1967, I wish we had more original content on our show like that! LOL Heck, almost all of our bits I steal from other stations around Portland, it'd be nice to do something original for once.
I'm the real Jacob here. I have no idea who is trying to post as me and ruin a good thing going here. We do not steal anything from anybody! Granted, nothing is 100 % original anymore. So even if we have borrowed an idea here and there we have tried to be original as possible with it!
