------------------------------Citadel's 'Huckabee Report' Hits 500 Affiliate Mark------------------------------

CITADEL MEDIA's "THE HUCKABEE REPORT" has reached the 500 affiliate mark, the syndicator announced TODAY (2/10). The daily feature, which launched in JANUARY 2009, is hosted by former ARKANSAS Governor and Republican presidential candidate MIKE HUCKABEE, who also hosts a weekend show on FOX NEWS CHANNEL.

"THE HUCKABEE REPORT has become appointment listening for audiences across the country eager to hear Governor HUCKABEE's views," said CITADEL MEDIA Pres. JOHN ROSSO. "Our affiliates and advertisers have recognized the value of this feature as evidenced by rapid affiliate growth and strong advertising bookings. The show is presented with a tone and relevance that truly resonates with his listeners while the writing has provided some of the most memorable quotes on the air today."

"Governor HUCKABEE is a warm and engaging communicator who makes the complicated issues of government less complicated," said CITADEL Talk WABC-A/NEW YORK PD LAURIE CANTILLO. "His passion for radio is reflected in this impressive milestone and we're proud to have him in our station's lineup."

  2. I've noticed that Doug Limerick's news bit was replaced by The Huckabee Report on KEX recently.

I'm sorry, but I just can't get excited about Huckabee's daily report. Maybe I was expecting too much.....Paul Harvey is a tough act to follow...but I don't think he is connecting very well, regardless of what the ABC promotion machine is saying. Maybe he is a acquired taste.

  4. I think Tim Riley should be the one to replace Paul Harvey

  6. I've always thought Dave Ross would be a great successor to Paul Harvey.

If I had a vote it would be for Ron Chapman. He has the personality and could develop the credibility.
