The conservative Christian freak brigade is at it again with this nut ball born again phony Baptist minister in Arizona, Scott Anderson, praying for the death of President Obama.

Interestingly, one of the gun nut participants outside the Obama event last week in Phoenix, Arizona was in attendance when this lunatic preacher made his sermon wanting President Obama dead. What a coincidence.

    What would Jesus think?

To bastardize and malign the Christian faith in such a way is beyond my comprehension. These people are true religious perverts.

  4. Another "Nightmare on Elm Street" example of the depravities of the human mind !

Here is this Phillip Garrido abducting an 11 year old 18 years ago..fathering 2 children with her , the first one when she was age 13 !! And keeping them all in his backyard in a handbuilt shack complete with a homebuilt outhouse on property in the middle of Antioch , Ca ! No one intervened eventhough neighbors knew what was there and that people and kids living in all that squalor. It was never reported.

And then this Garrido is a registered sex offender on another beef that he did time for , it turns out, complete with parole officers visiting the premises and never having a clue as to what was in the backyard. And then you have this guy being a born again Christian, a wack job, with far out " I speak to God boxes " that he built in his garage ( which must be in the backyard with his sequestered family complete with outhouse )...to say nothing of the Stockholm syndrome mental disorder of the victim, whereby she never tried to escape as far as anyone knows yet.

And not only that, he is caught on the campus of U.C. Berkley passing out some kind of God speaks to me , Christian based I am forming my own church pamphlets and sermons delivered therin... complete with his ' kids ' and 'wife' of 18 years ! The system finally worked when Campus police got suspicious in the way he was hiding and protecting and acting around the children and the female victim.

The potential for Human depravity is alive and well , and it is fortunate that such things are rare as in the original subject of this post.

    What would Jesus think,,Indeed !!

  5. Do you remember the black man that had the AK47 at President Obama's townhall? His name is Chris Broughton, he attended the sermon that this kooky pastor gave just the day before the Obama event, he is a member of Anderson's church. Scary stuff.

Anybody that believes that this kind of "Christian" (and I use that term VERY loosely) represents true Christianity is as loony as the Baptist Minister.

C'mon dude, it was an AR-15 not an AK. Big difference!!

I think these people represent a bigger threat to Americans than islamic terrorists do. These people should be questioned by the Secret Service.

Uh, isn't it against the law to directly threaten the President?

  9. Not if you are simply asking God to do it, apparently.

Yeah, right, like we'd trust YOU to know who is looney in the world after you spat on Kennedy's grave a mere hours after his death and took a swipe at the people of Massachusetts.

It’s all of that Christian love. But not to worry he’s going to heaven despite what he does or thinks.

  15. What I find particularly telling is the silence.

There are lots of good people who share that faith. Their faith is diminished with crap like this, yet there are no religious voices calling this guy out. We heard about Wright forever, while this guy will get a pass.

Have some self-respect people. If you value your faith, call this guy out for the clown he is. It is never ok to do this. I think it's actually legal, and that's sad. But, it's not ok.

Will we have to have laws that constrain a lot of valid speech to get this shit under control? Or will we have somebody killed before we get this under control.

If this were my faith, I could not let this stand. If that were my church, it wouldn't be anymore.

I never heard of him till here. Yes this guy is a loon but it's hard to shut him up unless he breaks the law. I would never go to his church cause I would not want have a pastor with such a bad reputation. I'm sure there are lots of Christians in his area that have tried to "correct his ways".
He definitely is bad PR for the cause of Christianity God help him.

  17. I suspect if that kind of talk keeps up, that law could very well change.

And a good dose of seriously ugly social pressure, from his peers, would do wonders.

Give him the Glenn Beck treatment
