   It appears that Larson went with Compass Media at the beginning of the year, which might explain why he has gone to the extremes to "increase" his following.

   So last night at 3:06 pm Pacific Time he announced that Michael Jackson had died followed by saying "Good Riddance".

   He was much the same this morning at 7:53 am. He has since pulled back, so I was prepared to contact Westwood One about his comments, only to find out he was no longer with Westwood One.

   So 1) is this a demotion? and 2) Can we rank him on the "jerk" list for the "Good Riddance" comment?

   Actually Larsen was a "jerk" way before MJ died. Larsen says anything he thinks his right-wing audience will love.

   Saveitnow: This was reported on pdxradio when it happened. Lars was even off network radio for about a week in between the network changes. This is old news.

   Lars, has it occurred to you that if you left the planet ahead of schedule like Jackson, there would be similarly loud "good riddance" aim your way? Foresake ratings once in a while.

   MC, so far you're 0 and 41 in contributions to this forum since the update. While obviously nobody expects 100% or even the majority of one's total posts to be contributions to the discussions here, but there is a hoped expectation that every once in a while it does occur. Can you raise your bar just a bit?

    Westwood One was (still is?) losing money faster than Obama can have it printed and they dropped several shows as a means of cutting costs. How come you radio experts didn't mention that, instead of taking shots at each other?
