If we are going to have an all guns all the time culture, this is completely unexplainable. If we aren't, then can't we do the human work to understand one another just a bit better?
This reeks of yet another "no tolerance", cookie cutter discipline policy that does far more harm than good.

And people wonder why our kids are not getting a good education when the shcools have clowns like this running them.
But remember that if you are a ratepayer in the school district, you have the opportunity to elect the members of the school board which set these policies.
Here is Hawaii, there are NO local school boards. All public schools are run from the State Department of Education in Honolulu. Talk about being remote...
