Did Daniel Schorr ever reveal his source? I thought it odd that the very same network that didn't stand behind him, aired an episode of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", where the exact thing happened to Mary and everyone was aghast and gave their full support to her!

  4. One of the last of a dying breed of serious newsmen. However, he also played himself in a number of movies, including Michael Douglas's "The Game" in '97. Though he is best remembered for his CBS work, I also remember him from CNN in the 80's, then NPR. The epitomy of a serious newsman.
