"No owner or operator of a restaurant in this state shall use salt in any form in the preparation of any food for consumption by customers of such restaurant, including food prepared to be consumed on the premises of such restaurant or off of such premises," the bill, A. 10129 , states in part.

The legislation, which Assemblyman Felix Ortiz , D-Brooklyn, introduced on March 5, would fine restaurants $1,000 for each violation."

It just doesn't end does it. The Dems want to control everything in our lives.

Now he wants to stop you from going fishing.

"The Obama administration will accept no more public input for a federal strategy that could prohibit U.S. citizens from fishing the nation's oceans, coastal areas, Great Lakes, and even inland waters."

http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/saltwater/news/story?id=4975762

It goes on and on. Government knows best, Democrat government, that is.

Obama should be concentrating resources on the economy and jobs, not stopping ordinary citizens from going fishing.

OK, gang:

As a proud American living in the land of the Great White North, I need your vote up here!

I don't know if any of you have any friends who have submitted a video for the Doritos contest in Canada? If you have, then great job supporting your friend, if you haven't then help out a fellow "radio" guy get some votes for a video I was asked to be in.

I'll admit, it's not the greatest, as I was asked to be in it, and run the camera on a few shots I was not in, "Nor will it ever be the greatest!" as my wife recently replied. If you can, help me prove her wrong.

If you go to

http://www.doritosviralocity.ca/

and click on the "GALLERY" tile at the top, then on the right side type in "Greg and Todd" and click on the search, it will come up. You can watch the two together and then vote.

Honestly, the Canadian sense of humor is a bit drier than ours, which is why our video is more like a "Trailer Park Boys" style, but after watching some of the others, there's not a lot of exciting things.

If we win, with a percentage of my winnings, I'll throw a shindig down in Ptown. If we don't, you just have the satisfacation of watching me make a fool of myself. FYI, for those that have worked with me, you might recognize the ol' Honda. LOL

Cheers!

Ohio Death Row Inmate on Suicide Watch After Overdose

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Officials say an Ohio inmate who intentionally overdosed on pills hours before his scheduled execution has returned to prison and is on suicide watch.

Prisons spokeswoman Julie Walburn says 43-year-old Lawrence Reynolds Jr., who admitted taking an overdose of medication prescribed to him, arrived at the Ohio State Penitentiary in Youngstown shortly after noon on Tuesday.

Walburn says Reynolds is isolated from other inmates and under constant observation.

Reynolds was treated at a Youngstown hospital after he was found unconscious in his death row cell Sunday night.

The type of drug he used and why it was prescribed aren't being disclosed. How he accumulated the pills is under investigation.

Reynolds' execution for the 1994 murder of his neighbor near Akron has been rescheduled to next week.
-----------------------

This is what really baffles me; "Reynolds was treated at a Youngstown hospital after he was found unconscious in his death row cell Sunday night."

Why???? Save the state all the expense of the execution. Put a bottle of pills in his jail cell and let him at it.

You can't fix stupid.

This from All Access:

------------------------------------KINK Introduces ‘The Lounge After Hours’------------------------------------

ALPHA BROADCASTING Triple A KINK/PORTLAND, OR has decided to take its long-running nightly show "Lights Out" and move it to SUNDAY nights only from 10p to midnight. The show features ambient and electronic styles and has been a mainstay since the ‘70s.

In its place, the station is introducing "The Lounge After Hours" in the same weeknight time slot. It features the best selections from the station's Live Performance Lounge archives.

"We have so many great recordings from the KINK Live Performance Lounge from the past four decades that we wanted a place to spotlight them," said PD DENNIS CONSTANTINE of the move. "This is the perfect opportunity to create a show that specializes in acoustic and stripped-down versions of songs people have come to know and love.

"When ‘Lights Out’ was launched, there was a plethora of music in that style being released. As time has progressed, new music in this style has become less available and more difficult to find," he added. "As a fan of the show for many years, this was a very difficult decision for me to make. Ultimately, I decided that the spirit of KINK is to move forward and explore new horizons. I’m very excited about the potential for ‘The Lounge After Hours.'"

In addition to the Sunday-night version of "Lights Out," there is also a dedicated channel to the show on
kink.fm.
