23 Percenters, plus a few percent worth of chumps.

About 1 in four of us are really crappy. Think about that.

Campbell and Putnam also found that the Tea Party is one of the most disliked groups in America, with negative ratings somewhere close to those of the religious right—also one of the country’s most unpopular demographics. That’s a significant change from 2006, when Pew found that most Americans had a positive view of the Christian right. Possibly because they are increasingly seen as anti-gay, evangelical conservatives seem to have tanked in the court of public opinion. As Campbell and Putnam put it, even as American voters have shifted to the right, they “have swung even further in opposition to mingling religion and politics.”

The average Republican legislator of the past would find the 2011 incarnation of the GOP an incomprehensible, ideologically inflexible, factually deficient, theologically bent collection of goons flirting with an approach to governance that is somewhere between abject nihilism and wishful thinking; coupled with the fervent hope for some kind of metaphorical, if not literal, apocalypse.

Uncle Ronnie is turning in his grave as we speak!

As the obvious has been painstakingly outlined to the willingly oblivious on this forum time and again with no apparent result my exasperation and disgust are understandable.

The "Tea Party" would argue the Earth is flat if anyone outside of their ideological sphere would dare declaim the truthful inverse. I have never before encountered such a gleefully ignorant, proudly uninformed, contrary, group of dim bulbs. Frighteningly idiotic about sums it up.

My issues with the President are well documented. And unlike the conservatives on this site are actually founded in fact as opposed to the willful distortion of information, erroneous conclusions born of incomplete if not outright false information, and a tenacious form of myopia borne of completely irrational and illogical emotional responses.

Here’s what President Obama is not responsible for: He can’t do anything about the economy if the majority party in the U.S. House of Representatives refuses to pass any legislation on the matter. And note to everyone; that’s the case. See also; Tea Party people, 100% of which are far right, Republican, dill weeds.

Obama’s biggest (political) fail is not outlining this truth in a more consistent and far more effective manner.

The Tea Party is another name for the far right base of the GOP.

It's a fact.

Jesus.

"The RepubliCONs/Teabaggers that got elected to the House haven't done a very good job. I'm thinking resignations are in order asap!"

Don't worry Trix, many will be given their pink slips next year.
