"...Justin Bieber's single "Baby" is the highest certified single in History..."

His "songs" may be popular... for whatever reason, but it certainly doesn't mean they're of any true artistic merit. Sure, it's making him rich and allowing him to get all the nookie he could ever dream of. But 50 years from now, will he be remembered for being a composer of high-caliber music?

After intimidating American citizens with the IRS, spying on reporters, Fast and Furious, and the attempted Benghazi coverup, I don't think those on the left are in a position to want to make any more enemies. That isn't even counting the abysmal debacle of Obamacare.

Besides, your guy's enemy list appears to already be much larger than Mr. Nixon's.

Uh huh. The average bridge in the Interstate system is built for 50 years max. Here we are with 58 on this one. Hopefully, no deaths here, but yes this sets back future projects as we need to repair and replace aging bridges front and center. Will this affect the CRC...unknown by me, but an educated guess is YES. Because this corridor in disrepair is more important than a potential disrepair in an existing corridor. Kind of reminds me of the proposition of repairing what is broken first, then just waiting for the next repair. Kind of a pathetic way of handling these things, but that is where we are.

From an email sent from RadioJox:
-------------------------------------------
When we began this journey, it was to provide a social network specifically for radio broadcasting and voice talent professionals. The size of the market you played in didn't matter nor did the number years in the business register as a prerequisite. We are radio people from those in morning drive to the weekend warriors and never forgotten are our brothers and sisters of the microphone on the beach.

The goal was to present a non competitive online community where you could interact on a daily basis with other voice and radio talent. There have never been a whole lot of rules and there's never been a paid staff to nudge us in the right direction. It's been almost like the General Manager and Program Director were out of town and we were flying by the seat of our pants. The founders of RadioJox from day one vowed never to use the site for our own personal gains and/or career advancements therefore chose to remain very low profile. Additionally our priorities have changed, a couple of us didn't survive a RIF and have since relocated to other markets, and another has become a restauranteur. A couple of months ago a request for a new team of volunteers to step up and take over administering the RadioJox site went unanswered and forced us to make some hard decisions.

During the past 60-90 days we have noticed a steady decrease in member activity with our 3000+ member base. Currently we have seen less than 100 daily member log-ins, down dramatically from the 1000 plus daily visitors from one year ago. With the reduction in visitor usage it has become difficult to justify the $400 monthly operation costs for a site that was a labor of love and never intended to support itself, as long as it remained viable to it's broadcaster members. It is now time to turn off the the lights.

RadioJox will cease operations effective Sunday May 26th, 2013

We would like to salute Erik Eitel who has uploaded his podcast each week for the past 3 years and acknowledge his consistency.

Thank-you for your support during the past 3 1/2 years and wish all the best in your radio and voice talent careers. We suggest you visit and bookmark some of these great radio industry sites. Again thank you for your past support and wishing each of you all the best.

- Team RadioJox
------------------------------------------------------------
Side note: Pat O'Day JUST signed up with them last month!

So does this means an EAGLE SCOUT (highest rank) is allowed to demonstrate
his 'gay' scout spirit, service and leadership?

Unless the whole 'pack' could turn as queer as three-dollar bills...

I don't agree with it, but they probably felt the need to compromise. As with many compromises, it pleases few. However, compromise within our federal government is badly needed right now. I see a glimmer of this on the IRS issue, but hopefully that isn't just a glimmer that flames out.
