They used to run Muzak's "7890" stream there and that cut would come up occasionally. This thread started with Moto wanting to know about The Brass Ring, a great recording used in a cigerette commercial. So today, I'm listening to my cable companies 70's music channel and I hear Blue Swede "Hooked On A Feeling"...you know the one with "ooga chugga, ooga chugga". I wanted to find out where that came from. Turns out it was orginally a single by Jonathon King in 1971, several years before Blue Swede. Thanks for agreeing that I asked a fair question. Now it's time for you to give a fair answer. You essentially NEVER cite MSNBC, ABC, Huffpost, or the CSM. I'm seeing lots of Breitbart and Weekly Standard, which I imagine (given how much you like to confirm your biases against liberals) is just the tip of the iceberg of where you truly spend most of your time. This is not a "gotcha" question. I want a reading list. I want to see what you read. I want to go there and read those sources. I want to see what you are reading to cause you to be so rabidly anti-Obama. Maybe...just maybe...there is some merit to your arguments, and I need to go to the source to find it. If you can't name them, you are ashamed of them. And if that's true, that's all I need to know.

Fair question, Edselehr. There is of course no single perfectly balanced news source. Much of what's out there comprises a target rich environment for bias, and I'm in agreement that it comes from both sides. If Ralph Nader was a newsman, I'd likely trust him more than anyone. Having said that, along with conservative sources, online I often read MSNBC, ABC News and the Huffington Post among others, like occasionally the Christian Science Monitor. Given that more than 80% of reporters vote Democrat, bias is baked in and rarely acknowledged. He may have a mouth that needs a serious leash on it, maybe even a choke chain, but he's fairly smart and experienced on what should be done at the government level. I doubt anyone seriously wants Obama impeached, even if it could be done. That would put Biden in as President and in a good position for 2016. Not good. I think the real goal here is to improve Republican odds in 2014, and to render Democrats weakened in 2016. That's politics.

When I was in Oregon in April, a friend and I went to Yaws. It was a little spendy but food and service was very good. Better food than the chains. It looks like the owner was the reason it failed. Poor management and the quickest way to get people to do a half assed job is to not pay them.
