I was a regular morning listener during the Les and Rebecca years, but after Ms. Webb was dismissed, the morning show lost it's appeal, and I haven't really gone back.

The only change to which I am aware is that it's no longer "FM 102". It's "kink.fm and on your radio at 101.9". In order to reverse their ratings trend, it seems to me that the music will have to be even more familiar than it already is and that's a fine line.

SAMSON is selling silent KGEZ-A/KALISPELL, MT to FLATHEAD BROADCASTING, LLC for $875,000 cash and consent to an order fixing their claims against former owner JOHN STOKES as a general unsecured $1.5 million claim, reduced from $3,845,745 and forgiving accrued interest. STOKES' creditors will get $787,500 less half of the real property taxes paid from the estate. The buyer is headed by TODD and DAVAR GARDNER, STOKES' neighbors, who won a defamation judgement against him.

This from All Access: ---------------IRS Says Red McCombs Owes Back Taxes On Clear Channel Stock Transaction--------------- While CLEAR CHANNEL co-founder BILLY JOE "RED" MCCOMBS was announcing that he would be the lead investor in the attempt to bring Formula One racing and the U.S. GRAND PRIX to AUSTIN with the construction of a new racetrack, FORBES was reporting that the IRS had filed suit against MCCOMBS for $45 million in back 2002 and 2003 taxes based on the agency's contention that he should have reported $216.7 million in capital gains from the sale of 11.3 million shares of CLEAR CHANNEL. The case arose from MCCOMBS' use of a gambit to defer capital gains tax that the IRS disallowed in a separate case against billionaire PHILIP ANSCHUTZ. MCCOMBS borrowed $300 million to buy the MINNESOTA VIKINGS in the late 1990s, pledging CLEAR CHANNEL stock as collateral, then used a variable prepaid forward contract when the stock value declined and he wanted to hold the stock until it recovered, taking a cash upfront payment for an agreement to deliver the shares in the future. The IRS concluded that the transactions with three investment banks were actually sales and therefore immediately taxable.

I don't know! I haven't "kinked again" (and that's bloody brilliant --give 'em a gold star!) KINK and I just kind of parted ways. I think it's mostly a shift of mine, but I really don't know. The beauty of it is when and if I decide to tune again, it will be different, because I won't know any better
